How Hand Analysis Can Help You Parent
Would you like to know and understand more about what causes your child to respond in certain ways? Knowing your child’s life purpose and life lesson will help you parent better.
Those behaviours you’ve been pulling out your hair over may be your child’s life lesson. If you knew ‘life lesson’ was making the behaviour persist, you might find yourself more compassionate and better able to support your child. That child who has to be reminded again and again to clean the bedroom and do his homework may have a life lesson of “irresponsibility”. You wouldn’t stop expecting him to fulfill his obligations, but it explains why this is the arena in which he needs more support.
How about when your child expresses a desire to pursue a career and you would prefer the child did something a little more practical. How would you react if your child told you she wanted to be an actress or singer? As a parent wanting only the best for your child, you might prefer they chose a career with more security. However, if you knew that your child’s life purpose was to be a “big shot artist in the spotlight”, you might be more likely to encourage her to follow her passion.
