I had a successful career and yet I had a strong pull in my heart to do something that felt more meaningful, more directly related to some part of myself that had always been there, but wasn't fully developed.

I was a professor of Early Childhood Education at St. Clair College in Windsor Ontario for 31 years. In that career I helped thousands of students to achieve their educational and career goals and believe in their self-worth.

My innate curiosity has taken me on sacred travels to the pyramids of Egypt, the vortexes in Sedona, Arizona as well as to the deepest places inside my heart and soul. I’ve studied with some of the leading new thought and success teachers in North America, expanding my awareness of what is possible for us as spiritual beings in human bodies.

That curiosity and passion to help others led me to train as a life coach by studying with New York Times best-selling author Debbie Ford. But it took finding out my Life Purpose by having my hands analyzed for me to get the courage to leave my teaching job and start Heart Power Coaching. I call myself the Heart Activist because my way of making a difference in the world is to help people love themselves just the way they are.
