Rosemary Heenan: The Heart Activist

Rosemary Heenan has a big heart!

As the Heart Activist she is dedicated to helping clients take down any walls they've erected to guard themselves from pain and re-open their hearts.  Rosemary helps clients get back in touch with the wisdom in their hearts and live their lives with the same joy and passion they had when they were young children.

Rosemary is a keen observer of people’s behaviour.  She’s always understood that whatever happens to us in childhood shapes the rest of our life.

Through the ups and downs of life experiences, Rosemary learned that numbing the pain in her heart didn’t work.  While she spent years continually trying to unravel the threads connecting the past and present, she found the answers she‘d been seeking when she began a journey into shadow work.

“When I finally embraced the negative qualities I’d been trying to avoid, I found freedom and unlimited potential.”

In 2003 Rosemary stepped out of the shadow and made a huge leap.  She flew out to San Diego and fully immersed herself for the next two years in the art of Integrative Coaching by studying with New York Times best-selling author Debbie Ford.  Debbie is the founder of the Ford Institute for Integrative Coaching.

Rosemary's friends describe her as “always into something” and that innate curiosity has taken her on sacred travels to the pyramids of Egypt, the vortexes in Sedona, Arizona as well as to the deepest places inside her heart and soul.  She’s studied with some of the leading new thought and success teachers in North America, expanding her awareness of what is possible for us as spiritual beings in human bodies.

After she learned how to reconnect with her own passion and live from her heart, Rosemary began to call herself The Heart Activist.  She combined her skills in coaching and energy work to create the transformational Heart Power Coaching program.  Heart Power Coaching helps clients to reactivate the passion currently locked in their hearts, resulting in the experience of exuberance and joy.

Rosemary loves to share what she’s learned and found out through a Hand Analysis that this is her life purpose.  She describes the illuminating experience of having her hands analyzed as a pivotal life moment.

“I knew then that everything in my life happened so it could lead me to this place where I am right now.  And now I could share with others what I’ve used to heal my own heart wounds.”

Using her life purpose as her North Star, Rosemary retired from teaching and studied Hand Analysis to add to her repertoire of services for clients.  She also offers interactive, life-changing workshops in Opening to Self Love, Releasing Limiting Beliefs, Stress Reduction, and Goal Setting.

One of the best ways to release stressful feelings is through laughter and Rosemary is a certified Laughter Yoga teacher.  She leads groups in Laughter Yoga sessions at workplaces and in workshops.

For 31 years, Rosemary was a professor of Early Childhood Education at St. Clair College, in Windsor, Ontario where she helped thousands of students to believe in their own self-worth and to achieve their educational and career goals. With the life purpose of Healer with Heart; it is no surprise that she has spent her career teaching others how to make the best possible beginnings for young children.
